We regularly visit Wisley, but at the start of the past few years we have been to see the beautiful butterflies in the tropical section of the glasshouse. They have hundreds of exotic types in all shapes, sizes and colours. To accompany this, this year they have a series of sculptures by artist Alison Catchlove. Stanley loved playing our rather basic toddler version of eyespy to find the sculptures. This is the third time he’s been to see the exhibit, but the first time he’s really understood things and enjoyed himself. My littlest seem to enjoyed watching them fly around his head, but at 6 months has no idea what they are.
